Description
The Beatles - White Album 1st Mono -1/-1/-1/-1 G+/VG- Numbered.
Original 1st UK pressing of The Beatles White Album.
Numbered top loader copy - number is 0163933
No Poster, inserts or original inners.
Vinyl grades G+ overall. It looks dreadful, almost as if someone has tried to clean it with a metal scouring pad. Most likely the discs have been left out of its sleeves, etc. Visual grading would be fair to G-. There are no deep scratches, just lots and lots of fine scratches. Play grade would be G+ to VG-
I have played this through fully (twice) and it plays much much better than it looks. It is a bit crackly throughout, mostly noticeable in the quieter parts, etc, but it plays without any pops, clicks, skips or jumps. I have found that It’s still a enjoyable listen, whilst clearly far from perfect.
The sleeve is G+/VG- with a split on the spine, discolouration, etc. (See photos). Obvious ring wear, etc.
Overall this record clearly is far from perfect and really doesn’t look great, but neither is it unplayable. May do as a collection filler until you can find a better copy.
