Description
This is the original UK 1st pressing of the 1968 album "The Beatles" by The Beatles on the Apple label catalogue number PMC 7068. The top opening Outer sleeve is only slightly off white, not yellowed, with a couple of very light minimal creases and is a great example. It is numbered 0138594. Both black inners are present one has no damage but expected wear. The other has a tear from the centre the goes out approx 2"and has one small seam split to one side. All four pictures are included and are in NEAR MINT condition. The original matt finish poster is also included and is in Excellent condition. The labels on both sides of each record are in Excellent plus condition, displaying only minimal spindle marks. The vinyl on Side one shows only light sleeve removal marks and no scratches and is graded a sound Excellent. Matrix number XEX 709-1. Side two again shows only light sleeve removal marks and no scratches and is graded a sound Excellent. Matrix number XEX 719-1. Side three shows only light sleeve removal marks and is graded a sound Excellent. Matrix number XEX 711-1. Side four shows only light sleeve removal marks and no scratches and is graded a sound Excellent. Matrix number XEX 712-1.
This is an outstanding example of the rarer Mono album that is favoured by many and is difficult to obtain in this type of condition.
