Description

The Beatles    "White Album"

This is a US vinyl pressing on Apple SWBO-101 from 1968.       It is a double album in a gatefold cover.        The gatefold cover is glossy.   It comes with a glossy two sided poster and four glossy photos.     This is number : A   0350209.       "The BEATLES" is embossed on the front cover.     The labels have the Capitol logo on sides 2 & 4.     The photos have 'Printed in USA" in a circle and "Apple Records Inc' at the bottom left.    The poster has a tiny 'star' and a "C" in a circle and 'Apple Records" at the bottom right.

The matrix numbers are hand etched : Side One : SWBO-1-101-J41.     Side Two :  SWBO-2-101-J40.    Side 3 : SWBO-3-101-J41.     Side 4 : SWBO-4-101-J41. 

In the Bruce Spizer--Perry Cox--Frank Daniels Beatles guides the cover is App 101.SC1 and the record is APP 101.SR2.        The cover has no copyright notice.     The side I label has the correct title on "The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill".  

The songs are : Back In The U.S.S.R., Dear Prudence, Glass Onion, Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da, Wild Honey Pie, The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Happiness Is A Warm Gun, Martha My Dear, I'm So Tired, Blackbird, Piggies, Rocky Raccoon, Don't Pass Me By, Why Don't We Do It In The Road, I Will, Julia, Birthday, Yer Blues, Mother Nature's Son, Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey, Sexy Sadie, Helter Skelter, Long Long Long, Revolution 1, Honey Pie, Savoy Truffle, Cry Baby Cry, Revolution 9, and Good Night.

The gatefold cover is near mint with no ring wear, no writing, and no seam splits.        The cover is particularly gorgeous !!!        The vinyl look near mint and they play near mint, with light handling marks on side 2.           The labels are clean with no spindle marks.         The records come in plain white inner sleeves.        The two sided poster is near mint.    The four photos are near mint.

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'.       My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.      I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 2 pounds 1 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every package, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are NO handling charges.     This record will weigh 37 ounces ( 2 pounds, 1 ounces ) when ready to ship.      US winners can choose between Priority or Media Mail.      I will print postage through Paypal and you will get an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International.    I will print postage through Paypal and you will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.     I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 3 PM and next day if after 3 PM : Monday thru Saturday)  

I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      If you do win more than one record, please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
