Description

Here is an Excellent copy of The Beatles White Album (SWBO 101), released by Capitol (MASTERED BY CAPITOL neatly incised on the dead space of all 4 labels) on its Purple Label in 1978. The pressing was done at the Los Angeles pressing plant, and at least two sides cut by Jay Maynard. In this 1978 release, THE BEATLES on the front cover is printed, not embossed.


This beautiful copy also includes a photo sheet with snapshots of the Beatles, with all lyrics on the back. There is also a color photo sheet of portraits of each Beatle, with the photos still attached at the serrated edges. The photo inserts look as if they were never touched, and the vinyl looks immaculate and sounds wonderful.


This record has has been cleaned and play-graded. The record surfaces are rated as Excellent, with glossy surfaces and no surface noise. The record covers are in Excellent condition - all surfaces of this gatefold album are clean and unmarked (see photos). The spine and seams are intact. The labels are clean and unmarked with very little spindle wear.
