Description
In this auction:
· “THE BEATLES” (aka: “THE WHITE ALBUM”) by The Beatles
· This is Capitol Records SEBX - 11841 in Stereo.
· This LP was issued in 1978.
· It is a LIMITED EDITION U.S. PRESSING ON WHITE VINYL.
· This LP is a DOUBLE VINYL LP and comes in a GATEFOLD COVER.
· The vinyl has purple Capitol labels.
· The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG to WEAK VG+ to CONDITION. There is moderate overall wear on the cover, but it is mostly still clean and white. There is some disc impression and a few small ink marks on the rear cover. There is moderate wear on the corners, mostly at the top and bottom of the spine. There is a small ¾ -inch piece of glossy white paper missing at the midpoint of the spine, but the paper underneath is also white. The top edge/seam has light to moderate wear. There are NO SEAM SPLITS. Inside the gatefold cover, there are a couple of semi-circular creases that total about 3-inches on the right side of Ringo’s B&W mini-photo inside the gatefold cover, but these creases do not transfer to the rear cover.
· The WHITE VINYL is in NICE VG+ CONDITION with some very light surface hairlines/scuffs (primary on sides 3 and 4).
· A set of four individual glossy color photos of John Paul, George and Ringo and the 2’ X 3’ glossy color photo poster with song lyrics printed on the reverse are included, BUT they are NOT the correct enclosures that were insured with this white vinyl pressing.
· The SET OF FOUR INDIVIDUAL GLOSSY COLOR PHOTOS (each measuring 7 ¾ -inches X 10 ¾ -inches) are in STRONG VG+ CONDITION with very light signs of handling. These photos are FIRST RUN PHOTOS printed before December 12, 1969, because “Printed in USA” is on the lower margin of each.
· The 2’ X 3’ GLOSSY COLOR PHOTO POSTER with song lyrics printed on the reverse is in VG+ CONDITION with very light signs of handling and NO TEARS/SPLITS. This poster was issued after 1973, because “EMI Records Limited” is printed on the reverse.
Shouldn’t you have The Beatles’ White Album in your vinyl collection on what else… but WHITE VIINYL?
