1968 The Beatles The Beatles (White Album) with Richard Avedon Photos and poster #192133 Serial: SWBO-101 Stereo Capitol Records
Condition Vinyl side 2 has name written on label and side 4 has a scuff. Would rate disc 1 NM-, disc 2 VG+. Front cover has no wear but very lite little stain (about 2cm large, its very small). No splits, stains, ring wear or tears. Photos are all pristine. Poster has some tearing at 3 seams but is still all attached, just needs to be handled with care.
About Seller First off, I've recently sold a few items to some great admirers of the history of these pieces. It brings me great joy to know that these items are going to a loving caring individual and will be well maintained.
I have been collecting music memorabilia (particularly early punk) with my father for over 15 years, he had a few gems though his years growing up in the 60's and 70's that he held onto and when I was at an age to appreciate them, he shared his collecting bug. We started collecting together in the late 90's, so I personally have had some of these items for 15+ years. Sadly my father recently passed and I inherited all his belonging and our collection which he had in his possession. I'm currently in a situation where I don't know if can properly care and appreciate these fine pieces and it would break my heart and my fathers if he were around if they were to get ruined due to situational incompetence. Much of my collection is very hard to come by and some pieces can never be re obtained. This piece (and others I will be selling) should be enjoyed and admired instead of sitting in some shop on a wall with a gross price-tag hanging over them or in is safe waiting for its value to grow. *Basic tips for maintaining these collectable vinyl
*NEVER store horizontally with other vinyl on top (the weight destroys them) *Personally I suggest not using these copies as listening copies. Buy a $5 reprint or better yet 180g vinyl and listen to that, it will sound the same and not degrade the collectable vinyl *Dont keep vinyl in sleeve, it will lead to ringwear. Keep vinyl in separate hard sleeve (same plastic is ok). It adds more support for the cover as well. All the vinyl I ship comes with quality covers/sleeves *If you wish to display the album cover, I suggest either buying a reprint that looks the same or if its a original cover (ie A Butcher Cover), put it behind UV glass. Lights and sun will fade the cover otherwise. *Keep in dark dry area
