Commonly known as ''The White Album''.
Issued with black inner sleeves.
Embossed lettering (The Beatles) on the cover.
First pressings open from the top on gate-fold jacket sleeve.
'Sold in the UK. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists' on the label.
The copies are numbered on the front individually to each copy and imprinted 'No 0000000'.
I'm certain this is a first press as all the identifying factors indicate it's a first press but the Matrix Number on the first side has an -2 instead of -1 on the first side but all the over sides are correct, the label information is correct etc. I've not been able to find any information on this, could be a factory press error? Any additional information would be appreciated.
Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 709-2; Side 2: YEX 710-1; Side 3: YEX 711-1; Side 4: YEX 712-1.
