Near Mint Japanese Pressing – Complete with Inserts
Original 1976 Japanese Toshiba-EMI pressing of The Beatles (White Album), catalog EAS-50039/40. Numbered sleeve No. A 368955, embossed The BEATLES on the front.
Complete Set: Includes 4 glossy member portraits and large fold-out collage/lyric poster, all in excellent condition.
Vinyl Condition: Glossy Near Mint surfaces, minimal signs of play, exceptionally clean labels. Plays quiet, as Japanese pressings are renowned for.
Cover Condition: Gatefold sleeve is clean and bright, sharp spine text, only the slightest wear.
Label Note: This copy has the known misprint with “Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill” missing the word “The”. However, “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road?” retains the question mark (not missing, unlike some variants).
Matrix/Deadwax: YEX-709-U / YEX-710-U / YEX-711-U / YEX-712-U (typical for this issue).
This EAS-50039/40 is one of the most highly regarded Japanese White Album pressings, admired for its audiophile sound quality and quiet vinyl surfaces.
