THE VINYL IS IN REALLY NICE SHAPE! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME!
Up for sale is one(1) The Beatles - White Album LP reissue from 1976 with Orange Capitol Labels on Capitol Records (#SWBO-101). This is the 1976 reissue. The cover is NOT embossed and it is NOT a Numbered copy. And it does NOT include the poster or insert.
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition, but has some surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticible during the quiet parts.
The gatefold cover is in GOOD condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, crumples, creases, fade spots, spine peeling, and ring wear, etc.... There is a split seam on the spine with heavy peeling that is typical with a gatefold cover. And there some spots / stains throughout of an unknown origin.
The seams may have taped together at some point as there appears some sort of staining along the seams consistent with tape. Both the outside and inside of the gatefold.
There are the typical split seams / seam separation. Both sides of the gatefold have separation at the top stemming from the side opening approximately 1/2 way. Both sides of the gatefold have separation at the bottom stemming from the side opening approximately 2/3 way.
This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in decent shape except for the separations and spine peeling.
Nice fairly clean orange labels with spindle marks. There is slight peeling around the Side 4 spindle hole.
Comes in plain white inner sleeves.
I obtained this LP in the late 1970's. It was gently played back in the day. Not played in over 30 years.
I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
