Description
The BEATLES MONO White Album APPLE PMC 7067/68
With a LOWISH No. 0045513- COMPLETE original 1968 UK mono TOP LOADING copy including the rare SPACER!
COVER: No. 0045513. Has off white discolouration with some wear and tear, scuffs and laminate scratches. Good spine with minor laminate loss. Top edges have some mild creasing where the records go in. Mild staining at the front top edge. The inner gatefold is nice and clean although a bit discoloured. Good strong flipbacks on the inside, no writing or stickers. Overall a VERY GOOD example from 1968.
RECORDS:
Both LPs OMIT ‘An EMI RECORDING’ on the labels.
Sides 1/2: XEX 709-1 (1 GRT) XEX 710-1 (5 GDG)
Sides 3/4: XEX 711-1 (1 RA) XEX 712-1 (4 OD)
Both labels are clean with no writing or stickers or other markings, just mild spindle markings. The vinyl has an excellent, clean sheen with minor surface scuffs and scratches.
The AUDIO has no sticks, skips, noisy scratches or pops. I played this at loud volume and heard nothing to detract from the listening pleasure, just minor background noise with a few minor clicks here and there. Side 2 has the most clicks of all, noticeably on ‘Julia’ which has clicking for most of the track but on the whole it does not spoil the music. Overall I would rate the vinyl as VG+
BLACK DIE CUT INNERS:
These original 1968 examples are in really excellent condition with nice clean die cut holes and minor edge wear. A few creases visible but these have survived the years remarkably well.
SPACER:
The fragile white sheet of paper, used to divide each set of portrait photos has a few creases and slight staining at the edges but has survived in excellent condition.
The four lovely thick PORTRAIT PHOTOS are complete and intact with minimal edge wear. Excellent+ condition.
The fold out POSTER has minor crease wear and slight rips at the edges but is a lovely clean example. Easily excellent.
Just 99p start!
Good luck to all bidders and please take a look at my other Beatles LPs.
