Description

This is the 1981 MONO Reissue of The Beatles' "White Album" housed in a bootleg "Black Album" sleeve. Contains the 1981 poster as you can see in the picture. When I bought this album (1984) in a record store in Greenwich Village in NYC, it had inexplicably been "cut out" - a corner had been snipped with a shears, but it was still sealed. The original sleeve had a large snip, which fortunately did not affect the records, and it only nicked a small corner of the poster. The 4 photos got worse damage, and are lost. The album is in VG+-Excellent condition. I'm the original owner and knowing the value of the record at that time, I've kept it as clean as possible and did not play it much during all these years. There is some surface noise as can be expected in a record this age, but it will not skip, is not warped, not scratched, and was not pressed off-center as is the case in more modern and recent re-pressings as well as foreign editions. I'm including the sleeve of The Black Album to compensate for the missing original W.A. sleeve.  I've verified that the runout matrix numbers are as follows - (from Discogs)
