Hello every one,
I'm selling The details are listed below with the disc condition first and sleeve, second.
The Beatles White Album No. 00223901 2 LP PCS 7068 Stereo 1968 Matrix 709-1 / 710-1 / 711-1 / 712-1 Short, light scratches throughout with a few longer ones. Light crackle is heard most of the time on the quieter numbers but not
always. Not heard at all during some upbeat numbers. The sleeve has just a touch of wear on two edges. Two short tears on the opening edge and damage on the top quarter of the spine. Nice condition on the inside of the gatefold. The records
plays very well. There are no jumps, skips or nasties and apart from the aforementioned crackle the music is lovely. I first thought there was a lot of clicks on ' Blackbird...' but on listening on another LP I realised they are drum-rim percussion strikes.
I grade both discs as VG - - and the sleeve as VG - -, also.
John Lennon Walls And Bridges PCTC 253 Stereo 1974 Matrix 937 Z5 / 938 Z6 A few light lines and 3 or 4 light scratches. Light crackle on side 1, only. Inner picture sleeve and insert are very good. Sleeve is in nice condition
excepting a 1cm line of old sellotape marking on the opening edge and two marks where there has been a price sticker. Disc VG + Sleeve VG + +
John Lennon Imagine 2 LP PCSP 722 Stereo 1988 Matrix 722-A 1-1 / 722 B 1-1 722 C 1-1 / 722 D 1-1 Both discs have just a couple of very fine, faint lines. Both have some cosmetic imperfections which are touches of
inner sleeve print-through. This does not have any detrimental effect on play. Both discs play with a silent background. The inner sleeves with track listing and details are in excellent plus plus condition. The outer sleeve, also, is in excellent
The discs I grade as EXC - condition.
The discs have been cleaned on my Pristine Vinyl ViVac RCM. Less well known than many but nevertheless a very expensive and a very effective cleaner.
I have play tested the records in full and visual inspection under a strong light. I play my LPs through all valve amplification with a Hana SL ' Shibata 'stylus which has a very sympathetic approach to imperfections and possesses the ability to give a dark and
quiet background to the music. Highly recommended.
All the records are dead flat. I offer a money back guarantee if the records are not described accurately but I do tend to be very cautious when describing records as I would hate for a buyer to be disappointed.
Before posting they will be bubble wrapped and dispatched in a cruciform record mailer.
Personal collection is an option.
