PCS 7067 &  PCS 7068

Side One YEX 709 - 1. Side Two YEX 710 - 1. Side Three YEX 711 - 1. Side Four YEX 712 - 1.

This album is in Excellent Plus Condition, with only a very few hair-lines, which may well be simple paper marks. Its vinyl on all four sides is shiny and has that lovely heavy EMI weight of early Pressings.

The white double sleeve is in fantastic condition and has the rare First Press ID Number of 242063, with 'The Beatles' on the front. It has all four original photos, which are in almost Mint Condition, having nevere been on a wall! The poster & lyric sheet is fully intact and makes up the Complete Set of this iconic LP and RARE, with its nu,bered sleeve!

As with all The Beatles records, the EMI Matrix, Mother & Stamper Codes are in the run offs on all four sides of the vinyl and are, to those that know, a sign of the LP's provenance and pressing. The Numbered LP and its ID, being '242063', means, along with the Label information, that this is a First Pressing and its codes verify this, with Side One Mother, being '1' and Stamper 'G L', being '18'. Side Two Mother '4', with an odd Stamper of 'G R R R', but with a pre-fix letter over marked, which is difficult to make out. This is probably Stamaper '22', which, with the 'Error & Correction' makes this both very rare, in the Pressing and very rare as a Low Mother & Stamper Release and with Side Three's Mother being '2' and Stamper 'RAA' or '233' and Side Four with Mother '4' and Stamper 'RDD' or '200', again it shows low Mother's or 'Masters' and interesting Stampers.

This is a fantastic record and its over all condition is superb, belying its 42 plus years of life. Who ever ownded this looked after it and played it carefully and seldom. Grading is difficult & subjective, but based on visual and audio and The Record Collector's Guide, as below, this has to be Excellent Plus and being a complete White Album, with Original Phots & Poster, it is a valuable collectors item!

I do not, now, sell anywhere else in the world, other than the UK. Russia and Ebay.com have not helped, with scams seemingly allowed to happen frequently, so sorry all the rest of Europe, but it is too stressful and the UK is handy and here! Please do not bid if you are not UK based.

Finally, postage is based on items valued below £46.00. If this LP goes over that, then the quoted price does not apply, as it will have to be sent First Class Guaranteed Next Day, Signed For. This will be £6.90, to include pakaging. Please, once you have won the auction, wait for me to invoice you or check first before paying, please.

Many thanks all!

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."

As well as the above grades, Near Mint is often used as well; this is really for a record that appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, + and - are also often added to the grading.

In addition to the basic grading, any individual faults should be noted separately such as if an otherwise Excellent cover has a name written on it, or a 7" single is missing its original centre etc.
