Description
An original 2nd press of the White Album from 1970 on the German Apple label. Matrix 1/1/1/1. The vinyl comes housed in an original side loading cover with the gold sticker. Please note there's no photos or lyric inner.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex/Ex-/Ex) In superb shape and have clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we sould only make out a couple of light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across great clarity. Interference is minimal - we are talking a couple of crackles in the occasional spot..very little at all. The only deviation is a small mark right at the start of 'Birthday' which causes a brief insignificant non-repeating skip. Other than that we are talking a very well preserved copy of top vinyl across four sides.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape. That iconic cover is still nice and white and not suffering the usual ageing problems. There's a bit of edge wear, but nothing significant really. The text on the spine intact, but there's a bit of wear. Overall the cover retains great rigidity.
