The Beatles - White Album
(Apple EMI PCS 7067/8 - First Published 1968)
Stunning Near Mint Vinyl
Stereo UK Apple Pressing
This is an original UK Apple Stereo LP pressing. With absolutely fantastic vinyl!
It has the Garrod & Lofthouse, side-opening, gatefold sleeve, which is un-numbered. It has a mark along the bottom, right, frontal section, as per photo and this continues on the inside of the outer sleeve, on the right. It looks like something got stuck and it was then opened, with some sleeve damage, which is actually quite superficial. Other than that the sleeve is intact, structurally fine, with a sharp spine and no other marks or biro or ink and retains it 'whiteness'!
The Matrix Numbers or Matrices are: YEX 709-3, YEX 710-6, YEX 711-2 & YEX 712-2.
This would be a later second pressing, so I would suspect that it is early to mid 1970's, but no later, as there is no bar code or ISBN. So forty years old plus - or thereabouts, with, probably, the best vinyl I have ever seen on a record of this age!
The vinyl on all four sides is absolutely superb and I would say Near Mint! I cannot, even under bright, direct light, see much in the way of marks at all, just, maybe, an odd paper or handling mark, but this is being picky! This is prestine vinyl! So, if you don't like the damage to the outer sleeve, this is amazing vinyl to put into a sleeve that you might have with poor vinyl in! Superb, with glossy, shiny Apple/EMI labels and no spindle wear at all!
It has the original plain white EMI inner sleeves, which are in really nice, crisp condition, but no photo-prints or poster.
Sales & Postage to the UK only. Rate based on £46 value, if the item sells for more, please wait for me to invoice you, as it can only travel Special Delivery, which is guaranteed next day, due to insurance and more expensive.
