Description
The Beatles White Album Top Open No 0149667 Stereo on the silver and black one box Parlophone/EMI label - fully loaded with poster and four photos with spacer. All housed in top opening flip-back cover. Original Lipstick poster and thick card photos with white paper spacer.
Vinyl = 1st press stereo mix with matrix YEX 709-1; YEX 710-1; YEX 711-1 ; YEX 712-1 and mother stampers side 1 = 7(printed backwards) ; side 2 = 2; side 3 = 7 (printed backward); side 4 = 3. The vinyl has numerous hairlines and one or two small scratches across all 4 sides (side 2 mostly affected) - see photos - all sides play with crackles/clicks - the album plays through without any sticking and sound is very crisp and clear - crackles and clicks mainly between tracks.
Labels - silver and black Parlophone and one box EMI - are clean without any writing or other marks - THE GRAMAPHONE rims and no ""Mfd in the UK " text on the labels - minimal spindle wear. PCS-7067 AND (P) 1968 also printed on labels.
Vinyl housed in black inner sleeves - these are not die cut and not the originals but are not the modern replacements either - made of thick/rough matt paper type just like the originals but not die-cut.
Photos are in excellent condition - no blu-tack or pin holes - the thin paper white spacer is also excellent.
Lyric poster in excellent condition - original lipstick design heavy paper type - no seam splits or pin holes - no writing - overall excellent.
Outer fully laminated top opening gatefold sleeve in good condition - the Beatles embossed on front cover with No 0149667 printed on bottom left corner. This is the wide spine version (approx 1cm wide) - intact with The Beatles text and the stereo and mono cat numbers clearly visible. Just one small tear - see photos. The inner and outer surfaces are all clean - no writing - minor ring wear.
Overall very good condition for a rare vinyl album.
