This excellent 1st UK MONO pressing dated from initial November 1968 release.

This early pressing is on the Apple Records label: PMC 7067/8

All labels include OMIT the 'An EMI Recording' text.

Stamper codes: 1,33,3,10/MG, 2,6/RD & 1/R, 2/R

CONDITION

All Labels: EXCELLENT +

Both Discs Visually: EXCELLENT

All playing surfaces are clean & glossy with and free from any significant or major visual blemishes in strong daylight. Close inspection beneath halogen light reveals some just harmless wispy marks from storage in the unforgiving matt black inners along with one or two light turntable scuffs, but no scratches or heavy marks whatsoever.

Audio

Disc 1: EXCELLENT Disc 2: EXCELLENT +

Both discs have received just a couple of careful plays on quality equipment and as a result, all tracks are free from groove/playwear distortion or annoying crackle. The only distraction we detected on disc 1 were a few light ticks on the fade-out of 'Dear Prudence' and a hint of low-level vinyl background in the usual places. Disc 2 plays superbly and is without fault. Tough to find such a nicer sounding copy of this pressing.

Cover: EXCELLENT -

This respectable, relatively low-numbered example is fully intact and retains an excellent gloss finish to its outer panels. The front panel has minor storagewear rubbing and a couple of small spots, but the raised wording is covered and the number is bold & unworn. There is also some rubbing to the upper edge of the lower part of the spine which is visible from the front. All of the top-opening edges are sharp & clean and there are no 'thumbnail' wrinkles front or rear. Both of the inside panels are clean & unblemished. The rear panel has some faint red stains and a bump to the lower left corner. The spine is fully worded and laminate but there  are four small splits along its length. All of the side & lower seams are smooth & fully intact.

Poster: EXCELLENT

Unhung with very light foxing only. No pin-holes, tears or writing.

Both are clean & flat with some soft wrinkling from storage but no tears or seam splits to either.
