THE BEATLES - 'WHITE ALBUM' TOPLOADER

CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT
Superb DARK GREEN sets bearing just a single light manufacturer crease trail on side 2 (see photo). Spindle holes are in great shape, although some snail trails are evident on all.
Both visually: EXCELLENT
Both discs have been PLAYED but retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine. There are no significant marks to any of the playing surfaces in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath light shows some light marks and hairlines, mostly as a result of storage in the rough black inners.
Audio Overall: EXCELLENT
Played on quality equipment, the audio on both discs shows very minor signs of any groove/playwear.
Apart from the usual low-level vinyl background in some quieter passages the only noticeable distractions detected during my play-check were a handful of light clicks and some light surface marks. There's also the usual surface noise on the run-in groove, which fades.
Sleeve: EXCELLENT
A strong & white example with a barely worn high-gloss laminate on which the only sign of wear is tiny yellowing on the panels.
The laminate is fully intact over the raised 'THE BEATLES' wording and the number is clean and unworn. FURTHER PROOF THAT THIS IS THE FIRST PRESSING IS THAT THE NUMBER IS VERY LIGHT GREY-NOT THE DARK GREY OF LATER ISSUES.
There is extremely minor wear to the lower corners and front opening but both panels inside the gatefold are pristine.
The spine is clean, flat & fully worded with minimal splits to the laminate on a small, 2 cm of its length. It displays both stereo and mono catalogue numbers. Please remember that a lot of the 1st pressings were released thus and were housed in the same stereo stamped sleeve even though they were the MONO pressings. This is not an error.
Photos: VERY GOOD
All are CLEAN but each, apart from Ringo, has a crease to the top, right. Ringo's photo has a very light foxing mark to the top, right. The photos come with the original divider.
Poster: EXCELLENT
A tiny mark is near the centre. No rips or strenuous creases are evident.
Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT
Both are clean & flat with light storage wrinkling and a couple of 2cm tears on one. I have rehoused both discs in modern, white poly lined sleeves, to further protect the vinyl and alleviate any further handling of the originals.
