THE BEATLES - 'WHITE ALBUM'
Here is an opportunity to acquire both mono AND stereo UK 1st pressings of thier 1968 double album.
Both sets date from initial November 1968 release on the Apple Records label.
STEREO (PCS 7067/8)
All labels omit the 'An EMI Recording' text.
Matrices: YEX 709-1, 710-1 & YEX 710-1, 711-1
Stamper codes: 2/M, 2/M & 3/MR, 6/MR
Disc weights: 139g & 153g
Housed in a fully laminated, top-opening, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo gatefold cover numbered: No.0337187 (stereo covers began at No.0300000)
Complete with original UK poster & 4 colour portrait photos but without black inner-sleeves.
CONDITION
Discs: VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT
Both discs play well with no significant or major audible faults. Disc 1 has been played the most and bears several light surface marks and hairlines.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Strong, clean & glossy with minimal storagwear and a clean & bold number. The spine is laminated and readable and the small 'stereo' indicator on the back is present and unworn.
Poster: EXCELLENT Photos: EXCELLENT +

CONDITION
Discs: VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD +
Despite frequent play, both discs play without any major audible faults. Again, disc 1 has been played much more than disc 2.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
Clean & strong with moderate storagwear and a clear number. There is a little wear to the top-opening edges but significantly more to the mid-spine area. Both sets of wording are still just readable.
