I have decided to sell a large number of my duplicate Beatles/Solo singles/EP's all in excellent condition, please check my other auctions.
The Beatles - White Album Apple PCS 7067/7068
This original stereo set is unusual as it appears to be a "crossover" copy with the first LP having no "Sold in the UK" markings across the apple but the second one does!
The vinyl on sides 1 & 2 retains the beautiful original sheen. Both sides show some minor sleeve removal marks and a few non feelable marks. Would conservatively grade as VG+
Side one Matrix number YEX 709-1. Stampers GLP & G.
Side two Matrix number YEX 710-1. Stampers RGO & 4.
The labels on both sides show no discernable spindle marks and would grade as M
This has the dark Apple label with no "Sold in the UK" text across it.
The vinyl on sides 3 & 4 retains the beautiful original sheen. Both sides show some minor sleeve removal marks and a few non feelable marks. Would conservatively grade as VG+
Side three Matrix number YEX 711-2. Stampers GDL & 1.
Side four Matrix number YEX 712-1. Stampers TRG & 5.
The labels on both sides show a few spindle marks. Would grade as EX. The label on side three has the name Kevin written on it.
This has the dark Apple label with "Sold in the UK" text across it.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition with some minor creasing. The number 0313336 and the embossed Beatles both clear. Along the back of the sleeve on both sides there is some laminate wear. At the bottom of the spine there is some wear. On the gatefold the previous owner has written his name and address but this is faded into the shiny laminate and can only be seen on close inspection. The gatefold itself has some age related staining, this looks worse in my pictures!
The poster and four pictures are in lovely condition and would grade as EX+
The black inner sleeves are complete but are creased and torn in places. Would grade as VG-
