Description
This is an original 1st pressing mono UK copy of a double vinyl album by The Beatles titled The Beatles released on Apple Records in 1968.
The top opening gate-fold sleeve numbered #0047248 is clean and tidy and in nice, excellent condition, the discs come in their original rough black,
single sided die-cut inners which have a light storage wear, each with a seam split to one edge but are both otherwise VG+. The poster has light handling
wear but no writing or tears and looks great unfolded so I'd grade that VG+ also. The 4 x photos are lovely and excellent and come with the original
paper spacer which has light wear but is fine. The records are 1st pressing issues with no mention of EMI Recording text on any of the labels,
both discs are in nice VG condition and have light surface play wear on all sides with hairlines and a few light surface marks but no bad scratches
and all four sides play through fine VG+.
This copy has been in my collection for many years and I have always treasured it as a complete original first mono pressing, and as I have
other issues of it I thought it time to sadly let this copy go, you will not be disappointed.
