Description
Dear record lover,
This auction is for a UK stereo first press of The Beatles' White Album, complete with all its original constituent parts (see below for specific details).
This is one of a number of rare or collectable vinyl records we are auctioning, or selling at a fixed price, on an ongoing basis.
Each of our auctions involves a realistic starting price and no reserve, in order to keep the transaction entirely transparent.
This item: The Beatles (White Album) vinyl LP.
Label/catalogue number: Apple PCS 7068
Territory of origin/year of release: UK, 1968
Overall condition: VG+
Sleeve: EX+, superb! Embossed, laminated gatefold flipback sleeve, no. 0475197. Occasional very light creasing but generally in fabulous shape with all spines and laminate in tact.
Vinyl: VG+ with some light marks but no major faults or deep scratches.
Label: EX with some light spindle wear.
Inners/inserts: Original black paper die-cut inner sleeves in VG to EX condition, with occasional light tearing (see pics). Original foldout colour lyric poster and four glossy colour prints in EX to EX+ condition.
General notes: This is a superior copy of one of the most sought-after original UK Beatles recorded artefacts. While the vinyl markings are light, the outstanding condition of the sleeve in particular makes it a spectacularly-presented item.
Terms and conditions: Our normal despatch time is 48-72 hours.
We visually grade our records strictly according to the internationally-recognised UK Record Collector grading standard. We endeavour to give the most comprehensive descriptions, and we always aim to grade conservatively in order to be as fair as possible to buyers.
Before leaving negative feedback, please talk to us so that we may try to resolve any area of dispute.
Thanks for your interest, and good luck if you decide to bid!
