Description
For your consideration is a copy of The Beatles White Album.
This item belonged to my mother, and as far as I'm aware she bought it back when it was first released. It has all of the original parts – two records, four photos and a lyric sheet with a poster on the reverse –although it's missing the protective jackets for the records.
Unfortunately, I don't own a record player and I haven't been able to play these so I have no idea what they sound like. Looking at the surfaces though there are some pretty significant scratches and I can't guarantee that they'll even play properly. Please bear this in mind before bidding.
Condition
The cover has yellowed slightly, particularly around the edges and has some creases and a few light marks. There's some old Sellotape along the top edge which has left some residual adhesive on the back and the records have left an impression in the card (please refer to photos). The top edge has become unglued. The photos and lyric sheet have some marks and creases. The records have some fine scratches and some deeper scratches, which I tried to photograph.
