This is the original 1st UK MONO pressing of the album "The Beatles aka The White album" by The Beatles on the Apple label, catalogue number PMC 1067 - 1068. Matrix numbers: Side 1, XEX 709-1. Side 2, XEX 710-1. Side 3, XEX 711-1. Side 4, XEX 712-1. Stampers Side 1, LM @ 3 O'clock, 33 @ 9 O'clock. Side 2, OM @ 3 O'clock, 7 @ 9 O'clock. Side 3, PP @ 1 O'clock, 3 @ 7 O'clock. Side 4, HT @12 O'clock, 4 @ 6 O'clock. Label on side 1 has a very small nick on the bottom edge of writing (see scan). With the exception of that, all labels show only a small amount of spindle lines and are in a very bright and vibrant condition. All labels omit the EMI recording text, indicating an early pressing. 

The vinyl is in an outstanding condition and retains it's full original sheen with VERY LIMITED markings. Side one has one very light hairline and a couple of sleeve removal lines. Side two has two very small and light scuffs (approx 5mm) and a few sleeve removal lines. Side one and two play with crystal clarity with no background noise, no clicks, pops, jumps (certainly no Rice Crispies on this item). Run in and run out grooves also very quiet. Had it not been for the minor marks mentioned above, this would have graded NEAR MINT but due to the marks is a VERY SOLID EXCELLENT.

Side three has one light long scuff across the run in groove into the first track (looks like another record has been placed on it and slid off at some point) but this is very light and only obvious when tilted to the light. Apart from that a few whispy sleeve removal marks only. Side four has a similar mark, again only evident when tilted to the light along with some light sleeve removal marks. Side 3 & 4 play with crystal clarity and NO RICE CRISPIES, just silence between tracks and good solid music. Both sides of this record are graded a true EXCELLENT.

Both black inners are in great shape with no splits, rips tears and only one minor scuff to the centre hole on one sleeve.

The poster is fully intact and is the correct KISS poster with matt finish. The folds are heavy with age but there are no spilts or tears.

The four pics are in outstanding condition.

The outer top opening sleeve has yellowed and has a little creasing and minor ring wear. There are corner bumps to the bottom edges (see scan). The spine has MONO & Stereo catalogue numbers and although this is an early pressing the rear of the sleeve does have the small print of Stereo.

This is an amazing item in outstanding condition and although I have previously sold a number of these, this is the best I have seen for a long time. The faults I mention are for accuracy and are probably described much worse than they are but accuracy is important, particularly on expensive items such as this.
