Description

This is a very playable and enjoyable to listen to First U.K. mono issue of The Beatles second album.


The sleeve is only G+ as has a lot of wear etc.

Original Use Emitex inner in VG+ condition

The record however is in much better condition than the sleeve

Has the 1N/1N first press matrices

Has the early first press labels with the Jobete miscredit for the track Money.

Visually both sides are a strong VG with only minor scuffs and hairlines. Nothing deep or that causes issues in playback. Side 1 Plays through with occasional light crackles but no sticks skips or jumps. Close to VG+ grade

Side 2 plays through very well. Does NOT have the pressing error that many first press copies had on the opening track ‘Roll Over Beethoven’. Definitely a VG+ grading with only occasional and unobtrusive light crackles.
