With the Beatles is the Beatles’ landmark second UK album, capturing the group at the height of its early breakthrough. Its combination of Lennon–McCartney originals, George Harrison’s first recorded composition for a Beatles album, and energetic interpretations of American rhythm-and-blues and Motown material made it one of the defining British records of 1963.

Offered here is an early 1963 UK mono Parlophone pressing, catalog number PMC 1206, with the classic yellow-and-black Parlophone labels and laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover. This is the corrected “Got” spelling second-pressing variation: Side 2 lists “You Really Got a Hold on Me,” and “Money” carries the Dominion Mus., Belinda (Ldn.) Ltd. publishing credit. It is not represented as the earlier “Gotta” / Jobete label variation.

The record retains the early XEX 447-1N / XEX 448-1N matrix combination. It has been ultrasonic cleaned and fully play graded. Playback is excellent overall, with minor areas of crackle and occasional pops between songs and during quieter passages. The vinyl has numerous visible scuff marks and surface scratches and is conservatively graded VG.

Cover – G− (Good Minus)
The original laminated flipback cover remains structurally intact but is heavily worn. It has substantial paper loss and tearing along the opening edge, extensive creasing, considerable edge and corner wear, discoloration/soiling, surface wear, and writing or markings on the back. The condition is fully visible in the photographs and is reflected in the G− grade.
