Description
Please take a look at four Beatles LPs I have for sale this week. All bought in the late 60s early 70s. All incredibly well looked after and preserved by one owner since new. If you are looking for Beatles LPs in excellent and above condition then check them out!
The Beatles WITH THE BEATLES stereo PCS 3045.
Parlophone yellow black label with transitional labels dating from around 1969.
LABELS: Side 1 has the last yellow and black label without the statement ‘Sold in U.K. …… across the centre. Side 2 has the statement. Side 1 has KT embossed. Both labels have very minor spindle markings, look very clean and unmarked otherwise.
VINYL: YEX 110-2 and YEX 111-2. Both sides are superb, clean vinyl. Very minor surface marks and feint lines. The audio is virtually flawless. I heard no clicks, just a very occasional light click between tracks. Conservatively I would grade this as excellent plus.
The Garrod & Lofthouse patents pending COVER is a superb example with a small ‘stereo’ on the top. As can be seen from the pictures, it is white and clean with minor laminate creasing on the front and beautiful, crisp, clean flipbacks on the back. I can just see one slight discoloured spot on the back that’s all.
The inner sleeve is a great example of the EMI Advertising sepia type. This is beautifully preserved with no rips along the seams or other flaws. Maybe a slight crease at the top only..
Overall, a very fine example of a late 60s UK Beatles LP.
