Description
On offer is the original mono issue of "With the Beatles" by The Beatles.
This is a Decca pressing, this can be seen by the circular groove which is depressed inside the label, I am told that EMI employed other companies to do pressings of this record due to excessive demand and that it is quite rare.
The sleeve
The front of the sleeve is perfect, the whole of the laminate is intact and it is not scratched.
The rear is clean with all flip backs still perfectly intact.
The mouth of the sleeve has no tears and is flat.
The only fault is in the top right corner where the corner has become slightly rounded.
The sleeve was printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse
The record
The record is as close to mint as you can get, the vinyl still retains its original sheen and has no scratches and has no jumps when it is played.
The label is intact on both sides and is perfectly sealed and displays the "Recording first published 1963" text.
As mentioned there is the circular depression in the label denoting the Decca pressing.
Matrix numbers are XEX447-7N side 1 and XEX447-8N side 2
Catalogue number PMC 1206.
Original inner included.
This is a very rare chance to get your hands on a rare "With the beatles" Decca pressing.
