Collector Notes

The paste-over butcher cover was created when Capitol quickly recalled the original controversial butcher cover and pasted a new image over the top. Many copies still reveal parts of the original image underneath.

On this copy a dark V-shaped shadow is visible, which is a well-known indicator of a 2nd state butcher cover.

Condition

Cover: Good vintage condition with age wear. Visible shadowing consistent with paste-over version.
Vinyl: Appears in good playable condition with normal vintage surface wear. Not professionally play-tested.
