Description
The Beatles Yellow Submarine LP 1969. This is the rare first pressing in mono PMC 7070 with 715-1 and 716-1 matrices, red lines above and below the sleeve notes on the rear, 'sold in the uk' text on the labels and no Garrod credit. The outer sleeve is laminated front, flipback. Spine is glossy and unblemished. Very slight yellowing to the laminate as per the photos. There is a 1cm long ruffle on the top edge and very minor ruffles at the insertion and some ink writing on the inside of the back, overall a nice copy for its age. The plain white inner with the 1-125-555 patent, is a replacement, not the original black diecut.The vinyl is nice and clean, a couple of minor marks or hairlines, some crackle through track B1, but overall sounds great. Collectable classic Beatles at a good price.
