Absolutely Rare First Pressing Great Britain; with Matrix No Yex 715-1 and Yex 716-1
Yellow Submarine, Apple PCS 7070, January 17, 1969, stereo. Covers were manufactured by Garrod and Lofthouse. The stereo covers have PCS 7070 and Stereo in the upper right corner and red lines above and below rear sleevenote.
The initial stereo covers have no information on the flaps like this copy.
On the lower flipback of the original first press of Yellow Submarine stereo does NOT credit Garrod & Lofthouse as the sleeve printer, but on second press (still with red lines) it does say "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patent No. 943,895".
At the bottom left of the back cover, the old Apple mark, which looks like a drawing, and the word "APPLE RECORDS" was printed
The records were housed in black inner sleeves with a die-cut circular opening on one side to expose the Apple label. These sleeves were most likely manufactured by Harrison & Sons.
Original!!!1. First pressing, January 17, 1969. Dark green label with an image of an apple on side 1 and sliced apple on side 2. Label have “An E.M.I. Recording” text on two lines and “Sold In U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists” text. Publishing year printed with small copyright symbol (p).
Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 715-1; Side 2: YEX 716-1.

Small spots in the Front, but hardly seen.
The LP is in a used condition.
Some hairlines/scuffs can be seen.
But it is obvious that the LP was treated very well.

Das es sich um die wirklich allererste Pressing handelt, ist ua. daran erkennbar, dass die eingeklappten Laschen nicht beschriftet sind und "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patent No. 943,895" nicht auf dem Cover gedruckt ist.
Das Label auf der Platte ist mit "Sold In U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists”
Alles in Originalzustand.
