Vinyl Condition: Fair/Good (Record has had a number of plays but is still pretty decent. There are a lot of surface marks and visible scratches but these are pretty superficial. The record plays well. There is some crackle and some distortion in the frequencies indicating many plays but is still an enjoyable listen. There are a number of clicks and pops in places and a few places where a few clicks are heard in one place. There are no sticks or jumps at all though and the record does play well for its age. There is a small white mark at the start of side 2 which causes two loud pops but is otherwise ok. Both centre labels have a previous owners name written on them in pen. On the centre label on side 1 there is some rubbing from when someone has attempted to rub the name off slightly. The run off grooves have some scuff marks near the label but are ok. Overall a used original which can still be enjoyed. I am very fussy and critical in my grading but I believe in being honest).

Inner Sleeve Condition: G (Black inner sleeve complete. There are creases and the edges are getting a bit thin but not split. I have of course included a new polylined inner as well to keep the record nice and the original inner free of splits).

Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Front laminated flip-back sleeve is pretty good for its age. The front has two small stains to the top right possible from some old price stickers. This is only very slight though. There is some creasing here and there but a nice condition front. The back of the sleeve has some staining and some discolouration from age. There is some previous owners writing to the top on the right. There is also similar writing to the left but this has rubbed away. The middle of the sleeve has a large blue smudge/stain. Overall the back has some defects but is presentable for its age. Inside the opening edge of the sleeve a previous owner has written an address but you don’t see this unless you look inside the opening edge. Overall a decent sleeve).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
