Description
Original UK LP released in 1969 on the Apple label.
Catalogue number PMC 7070
Matrix numbers XEX 715-1/ XEX 716-1
Stampers 1M/1O
Sleeve is the rarer blank flipback version which omits the G&L and patent number references.
Sleeve also carries the two red lines surrounding the text.
The sleeve shows signs of ageing with laminate creasing, reverse discolouration, writing to rear as well as wear to opening edge and corners with a small 1cm tear to rear (see pictures)
The black original inner sleeve is not present but I will provide a plain white polylined replacement
The labels have my parents name written in ink on both sides. There is some spindle wear.
Label carries Sold in U.K. text, An E.M.I. Recording text and P 1969 text
Disc is in very good minus condition with many fine surface marks and hairline scratches. I have play tested the disc throughout and it plays through completely without skips or jumps although there is background crackle in the quieter passages and run in/out grooves. I think the audio and the discs appearance could be improved with some cleaning.
(NB the white lines on photos 9&12 are a reflection of my camera and not scratches).
