The Beatles: " Yesterday And Today" Capitol T 2553 1966  3rd state Mono " Butcher Cover" Nice Peel Job !  Please feel free to ask any questions before bidding. This record has been in my collection since the mid 1970's . "Good Luck !! "

 The cover is VG+ This is the 2nd state cover that is 3/16 " shorter than the original 1st state covers. there is a 3/4 " split at the bottom of the spine, the # printed there is still legible as is the rest of the spine. The front cover has a single piece of 1/4 " clear tape ( approx 2 " ) accross the worst tear which is between John, and Paul's knees. This tear as well as the rest reveal a white background clearly visible in the photograph. The 2nd worst is just below John's right shoulder. The next one is the extreme left, upper corner Above the Capitol logo ( this one is tiny ). Overall, the front cover is clean and would make a proud addition to any Beatles collection. Conservatively speaking, I would say that this is at least an 85% successful peel job. The back cover has very light ring wear, and a small stain at the 2 O'clock position where the record would be if it were in the jacket. The original Capitol inner sleeve is included, but the record will be shipped outside of the jacket in a dust free sleeve.

The record is VG+ heavy paper scuffs, and a few light scratches are visible under strong light. This record plays and sounds great ! It would not be difficult to up grade to a N/M LP for this great cover.

All records are carefully packaged in a sturdy LP mailer with additional cardboard inserts. LP's are shipped outside of the jacket to avoid splitting the jacket.

 This record has been cleaned on a VPI professional record cleaning machine. Included is a dust free inner sleeve to protect the record from paper dust.
