Description
This is a third state Beatles Butcher cover LA mono
The cover has been peeled by Jim Hansen of Blue Jay Way Galleries who has peeled all of my Butcher covers for the past 23 years
The peel came out perfectly with no touchups
Top seam is solid with no issues. The spine has a repaired crack at the top to the middle about 5 to 6 inches. The bottom seam as a repair split of about 4 inches starting at the mouth.
There are tape stains all the way around the backside of the cover, which I’m assuming is from the splitting back in the day. There is also is a cut that is from the factory when they removed the original records. During the recall, you can see it right there at the mouth of the jacket about 2 inches in.
Record grades VG along with the inner sleeve
