VG Jacket Condition
This is an auction for a Beatles ‘ Yesterday and Today’ LP. LP is mono, T-2553. Presumed 2nd State Butchers.
I really don’t know the different variants of this album, so I will just start it out at $24 and let you decide what it is.
Cover is in VG condition. It is free of writing and major damage. There is one seam split, about 1 ½” in length, bottom center. There is a second seam split, a bit smaller in length, bottom edge next to spine. A smaller seam split top edge, next to spine. A half-inch tear extends onto the front cover from the ‘open’ edge of the jacket. Light but detectable ring wear. Moderately light soiling.
LP is in G condition, with obvious and apparent scratches. LP should still be playable without skipping, depending on the sensitivity of your setup. But will definitely be noisy.
Again, I do not know the different variants of this cover. Could be a Butcher under there, looks like a paste-on to me . . . part of the 2553 is covered. I just don’t know.

He has owned his store for about 25 years now and can hopefully shed some light on the question of Ringo's Sweater. I will pass along what he says after inspecting the cover today.

On Mar-26-13 at 15:36:31 PDT, seller added the following information:NOTE: Local record shop guy cannot see the 'V' . . . but says that with the RIAA 4 pressings it can be hard to see. Something about the amount of glue used at that particular factory. So I don't know . . . again I would say bid on what you see in the images, PERIOD.
