Description

This is a rare copy of a 1st Pressing of the Yesterday EP with the Black and Yellow Parlophone Label with silver printing. The details are what makes this such a rare and highly collectible record. The first being that the 1st Pressing was actually on March 4th, 1966. Both the record and sleeve show "P 1965" with the matching matrix numbers of side 1 being 7TCE 894-1 and side 2 being 7TCE 895-1 (1st Pressing). The second being that the front cover of the sleeve is laminated with flaps overlapping the back cardboard cover of the sleeve. The second pressings took place starting in the late 70's and do not have laminated covers. The matrix numbers are naturally different as well, side 1 being 7TCE 894-1 and side 2 being 7TCE 895-2 among others I'm sure, they stopped printing the record in the early 80's they still have the "P 1965" on the record but do not know about the sleeve since it was printed differently than the 1st Pressing (Beatles Collections.com).
Side one tracks are 1.Yesterday 2. Act Naturally and side 2 tracks 1. You Like Me Too Much 2. It's Only Love. This copy also carries the "Trade Mark Of The Gramophone Co. LTD." on the back cover as well. Great record for any collector for the rarity and condition of this copy. Please see the pictures. Hard to take pictures of the matrix numbers in the dead wax but should be visible for most. Don't let this one get away!
