The Beatles Yesterday, Parlophone GEP 8948. EP 1st Press 1966 Rare Beatles First Press Yesterday EP - these are not very common!
Description found with the record, we guess, from when our family member who collected these originally bought this record: First pressing, March 4, 1966. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. "The Gramophone Co. Ltd" printed at the start perimeter print and the publishing year printed as "(p) 1965" and with "SOLD IN U.K" . Push-out centre. Tax code KT. Matrix numbers: Side 1: 7TCE 894-1, Side 2: 7TCE 895-1. Condition
The vinyl is in very good condition. A few whispy sleeve removal signs and a couple of non feelable needle trails. Grades at least as VG
The labels have a few spindle trails on each side. Both labels grade as EX
The sleeve is in very good condition. Minor ageing/light creasing only. Grades as VG+ The Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve with rounded flaps at the top and bottom and a side tab. --END OF DESCRIPTION--
Play tested: Side 1: No skips and no jumps, a few crackles. Side 2: Again plays all way through with no skips or jumps and a few crackles.

There are Mono and a Stereo Black/Gold 1st Press copies of Please Please Me Album. The Stereo version is superb and highly sought after. There are also some rare 2nd and 3rd Pressings.
There are also some fabulous condition examples of all of the other original UK albums.
It is going to take us years to identify, list and sell all of this!
