Description
This auction is for a very rare Beatles Yesterday and Today Stereo 1st State Butcher Cover on Capitol ST-2553 RIAA Factory 5. This is a Guaranteed 1st state Hard to Find Butcher Cover. The V in Ringo's black turtleneck is clearly visible under the Steamer trunk Cover. I have included a picture of this area in the listing. The V is in the center of the shot. Matrix numbers are:
Side 1: ST-1-2553-B-16
Side 2: ST-2-2553-A-15
Cover is VG with a 4 inch split on the top seam and tape holding the bottom seam together. The face of the cover is undamaged and will peel well, if you decide to have it done. The vinyl is VG with surface markings. I have play graded the album. It plays through with some pops but no skips.
A stereo pressing of this cover is very hard to find in any condition and will make a great addition to your collection.

To correct a typo above, this is obviously a 2nd state cover, not a 1st state.
