THE BEATLES - 'YESTERDAY AND TODAY'
This 100% genuine & excellent example of The Beatles' infamous 'Butcher Cover' is a 2nd-state (unpeeled) mono example
The cover has the number '6' on the rear panel aside the RIAA logo, indicating manufacture at Capitol's Los Angeles factory
Complete with its original & correct orange/black Capitol advertising inner-sleeve
The 1966 mono disc (T 2553) is on the rainbow Capitol label with matrices: T1-2553-G10 #2 & T2-2553-F11 #2

CONDITION
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean and firm example with moderate storagewear and no major faults
The front panel is clean & unblemished with the only sign of wear being some rubbing to the letters '..ay' of the word 'Today'. The 'V' of Ringo's top can be seen through the pasted-over slick. There is a touch of shelfwear to the corners but no heavy bumps or bruising and no damage to either opening edge. The rear panel is clean overall with some light storagewear and a name written along the upper edge
There are small repaired stresses to the upper & lower seams but the spine is uncracked and fully worded

An immaculate pair with just a handful of barely visible spindle trails.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Clean & glossy playing surfaces with some superficial surface marks mostly from inner-sleeve storage & removal, but nothing I would call a scratch.
Sound quality: VERY GOOD +
A nice sounding, unworn disc with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion. The only significant audible fault found during my playcheck were four heavy clicks at the end of 'Drive My Car', which is actually due to a small blemish in the vinyl itself rather than from a scratch. Otherwise, there is just the usual low-level vinyl background on the run-ins and between tracks.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
Clean with a small lower corner wrinkle and a 6cm side & 8cm lower seam splits.
