Description
This once-in-a-lifetime collection comprises over 2,000 LPs, 1,000 45s/EPs & many box sets from virtually every country/territory where Beatles records were released.
All records will be sold exclusively on Ebay in auction format only (no 'Buy It Now' offers please) and WITHOUT RESERVE.
Due to the number of discs listed each week, gradings are visual only. However we are happy to provide audio grades on request.
This week, we are proud to offer some choice items from the U.S. section of the collection
Here is a genuine MONO 2nd-state (unpeeled) example of The Beatles' infamous 'Butcher Cover'
The rear panel bears the small number '3' indicating manufacture at Capitol's Scranton factory
N.B. Trunk slicks from Scranton factory were pasted on using water-soluble glue and are the easiest variants to peel
The Scranton-pressed mono disc is on the rainbow Capitol label: T 2553
Matrix numbers: T1-2553-G4 #2 & T2-2553-F5#3

CONDITION
Cover: FAIR/GOOD
The images in this listing can describe the condition better than I. However, as you can see that despite the fair amount of wear, it is fully intact with the 'V' neck of Ringo's top just visible through the pasted over slick

Clean but both playing surfaces are worn with numerous light marks and hairlines. There is also some blemishes to the side 1 label
- Our grading is strict & conservative in strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
