The Beatles Yesterday and Today 2nd State Stereo Butcher Cover ST2553.
The cover is in very good condition and the vinyl is clean very quiet, no pops or skips with some minor, inaudible surface marks. The stereo separation is impressive on this record.
Ringo's black V is clearly visible and you can see the butcher cover slick texture beneath the pasteover. There's some yellowing on the cover edges, which is much less visible in person than in photos. There's some minor ring wear that's visible when held at an angle. No seam splits. Los Angeles issue (5). Original inner sleeve is included.
This cover has the rare pinkish hue on the inside of the cover. The rolls of cardboard that they made the covers from were tinted pink near the end of the roll so the workers would know it's time to prepare to change the roll of cardboard stock. Very cool.
A great candidate for a peel or perfect for framing as is.
