The Beatles – “Live At The BBC” & “On Air – Live At The BBC Vol 2”.  Vol 2 on heavyweight vinyl. Excellent Plus & Near Mint Condition

Between March 1962 and June 1965 the Beatles appeared as the main artists on 52 radio programmes on the B.B.C. They sang 88 different songs, 36 of them were never issued officially.

The 1994 “ Live At The BBC” double album contains 56 songs made at BBC sessions, digitally remastered and compiled by George Martin.

19 years after EMI put out the first BBC compilation “On Air” was released in 2013. “On Air” features 37 previously unreleased performances and 23 newly available speech tracks. The recordings have been remastered.

Live At The BBC - Vol 1

Both discs are in Excellent plus condition with just a few very fine hairlines visible in bright light. 

The cover is in Excellent condition, just some storage wear and a small split to the top edge of the rear cover.

On Air – Live At The BBC Vol 2

All three discs are in Near Mint condition. Essentially Mint as they have never been played. But because they have been handled and removed from the original inner sleeves to protect them, I will grade as Near Mint.

The cover, again, is in Near Mint condition, just a couple of minor creases on the lower corners caused by the original cellophane wrapping.

This is a fantastic set of the BBC sessions on vinyl. An essential addition to the Beatles catalogue, and any Beatles collection.

I have been a Beatles fan since the day I sat down in 1973 to listen to the ‘Blue Album’. As a young lad this was the first time I had consciously listened to the band. From the first few bars of Strawberry Fields Forever, I was hooked. So it is with a very heavy heart that I now have to sell my vinyl collection!  I have been selling a number of items recently but now need to let the vinyl go. I am not a dealer, so please accept my gradings as being as honest as I can make them without a professional background or equipment. Unless stated the gradings are visual, as I just don’t have the time to play grade everything.

As with all my vinyl, it would benefit from a professional clean.

Records will be removed from their original sleeve and dispatched in a plain white sleeve. All items will be placed in a protective wrapping and dispatched in a card mailer. Because of the bulk of the 'On Air' cover  it won't fit a standard PVC sleeve, so I will wrap carefully before putting into mailer.

I always obtain a proof of posting from Post Office.

This may make my postage charges a little higher than some other sellers but it provides peace of mind to myself and the buyer.
