Description

Here for sale is this factory sealed “gold stamped Promo” stereo Lp 1978 pressing of ‘Rubber Soul’ by The Beatles. Condition is New old store stock. I just acquired all The Beatles “gold stamped Promo” 1978 purple label stereo Lp pressings from an estate in the New York area where the gentleman worked for Capitol Records in the 1970’s. The cover is factory sealed with a breath hole on the front shrink. This the way Capitol Records designated Promo covers in the late 1970’s. They would carefully remove the shrink from the top right corner & gold  stamp them there. The shrink is separated 3/4 of the way on the opening side but the record has never been removed.  Lp Mint- condition. This is part of the complete set of unplayed Beatles LP’s i acquired
& they are all 1978 purple label stereo pressings with ‘mastered by Capitol’ in the deadwax. The cover has a but if corner tip wear on the right side. These pressings are the best sounding Lp pressings of the USA catalogue. Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Thanks Frank
