The Beatles  "White Album"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Apple SWBO-101 from 1968.     It's a double album in a gatefold cover, with 4 photos and poster.       The title "The Beatles" is embossed on the front cover and it is number :  A   0230958.      The inside gatefold cover has the record number with no copyright notice at bottom left.       The labels have the Capitol logo rim print on sides 2 and 4 and a light green background.    On side 1 it has the full title on the song 'The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill'.    The four photos are on thick stock paper with 'printed in USA' in a circle at bottom left.     There is a pale yellow separation sheet.     It has the two sided poster with credit to EMI Records (The Gramophone Co. LTD) at the bottom.

In Bruce Spizer's book this is : Cover :  APP 101.SC1,  photos : APP 101.CP1,  poster : APP 101.AP1,  and records :  APP 101.SR2(e).

The matric numbers are hand etched :  Side one : SWBO-1-101-J40,  Side two : SWBO-2-101-J41,  Side three :  SWBO-3-101-J41, and Side four :  SWBO-4-101-J40.

Overall Condition is : Cover is M- /  Records are VG+ / Photos : M / Poster : VG+

The gatefold cover is near mint.     It has no seam splits, no writing, and no bent corners.    There is very slight cover wear.         The vinyl sides are graded as follows :    Side One looks VG+ and it plays VG+, with light handling marks and no spindle marks.     Side Two looks VG and it plays VG, with some scuffs and handling marks, and lots of spindle marks.    Side Three looks VG+ and it plays VG+, with very slight handling marks and no spindle marks.   Side Four looks VG+ and plays VG+, with one handling mark and no spindle marks.           The records comes in a plain white inner sleeves.    The four photos are Mint.    The separation sheet is mint minus, with a couple tiny stains.     The poster is VG+, with wear on the folds, but no pin holes, no tape, and no tears.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 2 pounds 3 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 29 ounces ( 2 pounds, 3 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.     I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      If you do win more than one record, please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
