Description

Up for auction is a great Beatles related album:

Peter and Gordon - The Best of Peter and Gordon Capitol SM-2549.  Album cover and vinyl are in excellent condition!

Peter and Gordon (Peter Asher and Gordon Waller) had several hits written by Paul McCartney.  Paul gave them to Peter and Gordon when he was dating Peter's sister, Jane Asher.  The McCartney songs were: A World Without Love, I Don't Want To See You Again and Woman (with credit going to Paul as "Bernard Webb") 

When I was at the 2007 "Fest For Beatles Fans" in Las Vegas, Peter and Gordon were both there.  I had them sign this album and had my picture taken with them behind the table.  Included with the album is that picture just after they signed the album.  I'm also enclosing the Fest For Beatle Fans program with the pictures and articles about all the guests, including these.  They put on a good show and sounded just like they always did.  Gordon Waller passed away 2 years later on 7-20-2009 from a heart attack at the age of 64.
