Hello everyone,
I'm downsizing my record collection of some 60+ years and I have already listed some Beatles albums and this is my latest lot.
' Rubber Soul ' Mono PMC 1267 2nd pressing - Sold in UK - The Gramophone Co Ltd label Matrix- 579-4 / 580-4 Light lines throughout and 4 fine scratches plus two longer, more pronounced ones which give the occasional light click. A little light crackle briefly now and again and between tracks on side 2. Side 1 still has the odd touch of crackle and an odd click.. Must of the time the background is quiet and between tracks. Play is loud, clear, without distortion and is a very enjoyable listen.
' Abbey Road ' Stereo PCS 7088 Pressing unsure. Apple aligned on rear but no credit ' Her Majesty ' on label. Matrix YEX 749 / 750. Light lines and small scuffs throughout and one pin-head mark at the beginning of track 1, side 2, giving around 10-12 light clicks. Overall a very quiet replay without background noise and only an occasional touch of light crackle between tracks. A very good listen.
' With The Beatles ' Mono PMC 1206 2nd pressing - Recording First Published... and Dominion Belinda credit label. Matrix YEX 447-7N / YEX 448-7N Few light lines and small scuffs but no proper scratches as such. A quiet play all round without crackle or clicks. Clear, without distortion and a very good listen.
' Help ' Mono PMC 1255 1st pressing - Sold in UK and The Parlophone Co Ltd. Matrix XEX 549-2 / XEX 550-2 Also stamped are the numbers R T 0 and R P D , but the Os an Ds could be Ds and Os. A few paper removal lines and light handling lines only. A dead quiet play all round. A very good listen.
All are dead flat.
I would describe the Rubber Soul as VG - - because of the reasonable play. The others are VG but sound much better.
The sleeves are as follows :-
Rubber Soul There is a pice missing, bottom right corner. wear on the edges but a good readable spine. Good +
Beatles For Sale 1" tear bottom left corner and 1cm tear on the opening edge. VG
Abbey Road The details on the spine revery clear and readable but there is a 4cm lift in the middle. A little edge wear but excellent laminate. VG+
Help Apart from a smallish mark on the back [ seen in the photo ] the sleeve is EXC -
With The Beatles Minimal amount of small creases, a very good readable spine and the back has age related browning. VG+
Three have original inner sleeves and the Abbey Road has a plain one, all in VG+ -EXC condition.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to get into vinyl and the Beatles to acquire four albums that sound really good. My advice - don't look, just listen and enjoy. I attempt to describe as accurately as I can as I wouldn't wish for a buyer to be disappointed on

The records will be bubble wrapped and dispatched in a purpose cardboard record mailer.
