Hello everyone,
I'm downsizing my record collection of some 60+ years and I have already listed some Beatles albums and this is my latest lot.
' Rubber Soul '          Stereo  PCS 3075   1st pressing -  Sold in UK - The Gramophone Co Ltd label   Matrix YEX 178-2  /  179-2   Light lines throughout and 4 decent scratches which sometimes give 1 or 2 ticks per revolution. A couple of tracks have
 occasional light crackle. Most of the time the background is quiet and it's quiet between tracks. Play is loud, clear, without distortion and is a very enjoyable listen.
' Beatles For Sale '    Mono   PMC 1240   1st pressing - Sold in UK - The Parlophone Co Ltd  label      Matrix XEX 503-4N  /  504- 3N  Many fine sleeve removal lines throughout and the odd very small mark. A couple of fine scratches. All non-sounding. Quiet
 backgroundreplay and quiet between tracks. On side 1, only, there is a slight wobble. This lessens as the stylus progresses and the rise and fall is very small, just once per revolution, without any fear for the stylus.
' A Hard Day's Night ' Mono  PMC 1230    2nd pressing- Sold in UK - Parlophone Co Ltd  label             Matrix XEX 481-3N  /  XEX 482-3N   Some light paper lines and small marks throughout. Well played. Apart from a little crackle on the run-in on  both sides the
 record plays without background noise and it's quiet between tracks.
' Abbey Road '            Stereo  PCS 7088   Pressing unsure. Apple aligned on rear but no credit ' Her Majesty ' on label.  Matrix YEX 749 / 750. Light lines throughout and one short scratch giving around 7 or 8 clicks. Very quiet between most tracks and only on the
 odd occasion may the highest of crackle be heard. On the last track of side 1 towards the end the record sticks, that is, it repeats itself.
' With The Beatles '    Mono    PMC 1206   2nd pressing - Recording First Published... and Dominion Belinda credit label.  Matrix XEX 447-7N  /  XEX 748-7N   Small marks and lines throughout and a few decent scratches. Only a mere suggestion of crackle and then
 only on the run in and between tracks. There is a very slight wobble on side 1 only and as the stylus proceeds, the slight lift decreases to nothing by track 4.
All records I rate as VG to  VG-  They sound really good but their visual appearance lets them down.
The sleeves are as follows :-
Rubber Soul  1.5cm tear on opening edge, otherwise with very little corner wear and signs of handling on the back. Undamaged spine. VG
Beatles For Sale  1" tear bottom left corner and 1cm tear on the opening edge. VG
Abbey Road    The details on the spine revery clear and readable but there is a 4cm lift in the middle. If it wasn't for that the condition would be excellent.  The sleeve states EMI [ SEA ]/ Hong Kong / Malasia     VG+
Hard Day's Night     Sorry, but a scruffy sleeve.A sellotape tear across the front. The rear is all present but it's well handled, discoloured and has writing across. Fair
With The Beatles       Bad tears on the front and a piece missing. Good readable spine and the back is all there and apart from writing, it's not too bad. Because of the front it can only be graded as Poor.
Three have original inner sleeves in excellent condition, the others are VG+ and VG-
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to get into vinyl and the Beatles to acquire five albums that sound really good. My advice - don't look, just listen and enjoy. I attempt to describe as accurately as I can as I wouldn't wish for a buyer to be disappointed on
