Beatles for Sale is the fourth studio album by English rock band The Beatles, released on 4 December 1964 in the United Kingdom and produced by George Martin for Parlophone. The album marked a minor turning point in the evolution of the Lennon–McCartney partnership, John Lennon particularly now showing interest in composing songs of a more autobiographical nature. "I'm a Loser" shows Lennon for the first time coming under the influence of Bob Dylan whom he met in New York while on tour on 28 August 1964.

This is the 1st pressing in stereo of Beatles For Sale. In 1964 stereo pressings were much less common than mono so there is a relatively smaller supply of this lp in this format.

Beatles For Sale vinyl lp. Vinyl is Side 1 Good+ / Side 2 Very Good. The vinyl is quite glossy with a few surface marks on both sides. On Side 1 there is persistent background crackle which doesn't overwhelm the music but can often be heard. There are a number of pops without there being any notable scratches. Side 2 has some lighter background crackle and fewer pops. No jumps or enduring scratches found on either side.
Laminated Gatefold Flipback Sleeve is Good. There is some quite heavy creasing and edge wear. There is a 3cm tear along the top of the gatefold spine. The outside of the spine is not legible. The inner is a new white paper inner sleeve.

Summary:- Listenable and pleasant audio of a 1st stereo 1964 pressing of Beatles For Sale but certainly not a final upgrade copy.
This has been cleaned on a Okki Nokki RCM FREE for the buyer.
Grading system used:-
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or
defaced.
Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
