Revolver is the seventh studio album by the English rock band The Beatles. It was released on 5 August 1966 in the United Kingdom and three days later in the United States. The record spent 34 weeks on the UK Albums Chart, for seven of which it held the number one spot. Reduced to eleven songs for the North American market, Revolver was the last Beatles album to be subjected to Capitol Records' policy of altering the band's intended running order and content. In America, the album topped the Billboard Top LPs listings for six weeks.

This is the 2nd mono pressing of Revolver. This rarer variation has the Times New Roman font with the still not yet corrected Dr Robert on the Side 2 label. The sleeve also has Dr Robert and of course both should be Doctor Robert.

This record has been cleaned and test played in full to be graded. Please contact me if you require any further details.

Revolver vinyl lp. Vinyl is Excellent-. The vinyl is glossy with a couple of surface marks. On Side 1 there are a few rhythmic light pops for a few revolutions on I'm Only Sleeping. On Side 2 there is a bit of light rhythmic crackle audible between the first few tracks.

Ernest J Day & Co Ltd flipback Sleeve is Very Good+. There are pin pricks in corners some edge creasing and light indentations on the front. The spine is fully legible. The inner is a polylined white paper inner sleeve.

Summary:- A more than decent copy of a rarer variation of the standard Revolver release. 

This has been cleaned on a Okki Nokki RCM FREE for the buyer.

Grading system used:-


Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.


Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.


Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.


Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.


Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.


Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or
defaced.


Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
